Acer Aspire One AO530

There’s more evidence today that Acer is working on a new 10 inch netbook that’s slightly different fromt the Acer Aspire One AOD150. We started seeing pictures of the upcoming mini-laptop last month. And now thanks to the FCC, we’ve got a little more info, a bunch of additional photos, and maybe a name.

Based on some of the documents, it looks like the netbook may be called the Acer Aspire One AO530 and/or Aspire One ZG8. There aren’t many details about the specifications, but I can’t help but wonder if the Z530 means that this unit might replace the usual Intel Atom N270/N280 CPU with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 chip.

Some of the pictures also seem to indicate that the touchpad will support multitouch features and that there may be both hard drive and SSD models available.
