Toshiba’s Mexico division may have spilled the beans on the company’s upcoming netbook a few days ago. But now Toshiba’s really getting ready to talk netbooks. In the UK anyway. British news sites Stuff and iTWire are both running articles previewing the new Toshiba Satellite NB100. It’s not entirely clear if the NB105 name we heard earlier was wrong or if that’s the name the laptop will wear in Mexico.

As expected, the NB100 will have an 8.9 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, a 120GB hard drive, and a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU. Now we also know that it will have a 0.3 megapixel webcam, 1GB of RAM, and a 3.5 hour battery. Oh, and it will come in Ubuntu and Windows XP versions.

Update: And we have a price. Register Hardware reports that the NB100 will cost £260 or about $475 US.
