It looks like the Asus Eee PC 1016P netbook could be headed to the US. The 10 inch netbook started making the rounds earlier this year, but it has yet to go on sale. Now it’s showing up at the FCC web site.

The Asus Eee PC 1016P features a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB of RAM, and 160GB or 250GB hard drive. It will come with a choice of a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 or Atom N455 processor or a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N475 CPU. It alsofeatures 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and optional 3G and WiMAX capabilities.

There’s no word on a price or release date, but the fact that it’s up on the FCC web site means that Asus is at least considering the possibility of bringing this model stateside.
