This morning I mentioned that Asus is showing a 3G enabled version of the Eee PC T91 convertible tablet at CeBIT. Our friend jkkmobile got a chance to spend some time with the touchscreen netbook, and he likes what he sees.
Asus first demoed the Eee PC T91 at CES in Janurary, but in the two months since then, the company seems to have put some finishing touches on the software and hardware, making the netbook a bit more usable. The computer has an 8.9 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel resistive touchscreen display and runs Windows XP. Although it’s not the tablet version of XP, Asus has developed a custom program launcher and a series of touch-friendly applications.
In addition to 3G connectivity, this particular model also has a GPS option.
