xitrix travelpro m-10Xitrix is a computer manufacturer in the Philippines. The company has a handful of  desktop and notebooks to its name, but recently introduced its first netbook. The Xitrix TravelPro M-10 is a pretty standard in most respects. It has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and runs Windows 7 Starter Edition.

But there are a few things that set this netbook apart. First, it has 2GB of RAM instead of the more common 1GB. Second, it has a 320GB hard drive. With those specs, I have no idea why this computer is running Windows 7 Starter and not Windows 7 Home Premium.

The TravelPro M-10 measures 9.8″ x 7.2″ x 1.1″ and weighs about 2.2 pounds. It has a starting price of 22,995 Philippine Pesos, or about $493 US.

"I have no idea why this computer is running Windows 7 Starter and not Windows 7 Home Premium" - One reason, price. Windows 7 crippled edition is cheaper than Home Premium. This netbook is already too expensive at $493.
