I have my netbook right next to my laptop- am always transferring files across the wireless network, but a crosslink would be much faster, and useful to share other periferals.

I have an old EEE 900 and my kids each have EEE 1000s. It would be nice to be able to link to another computer from time to time to use the DVD drive.

Nice device. I'd use the cable to sync and install software on my netbook using my desktop PC. The idea of sharing an internet connection is also intriguing, especially if I were to get 3G access for my netbook…
