It was only a matter of time before a U.S. cellular carrier picked up LG’s first model to hit American shores. AT&T has announced that they’ll be offering the LG X120 for $179.99.
And yes, there’s a contract that comes with that discount price. You’ll also need to sign up for a 2-year DataConnect service agreement which runs $60 per month.
That adds another $1,440 to your purchase price over 24 months, though AT&T won’t charge you an early termination fee if you cancel within the first 30 days.
If the contract isn’t a problem for you and you just want a nice, 3G-enabled netbook, the X120 from AT&T is a good option. You can pick it up at Radio Shack.com and Radio Shack stores nationwide.
As an added bonus, you also get access to AT&T’2 20,000 U.S. Wi-Fi hotspots.
