vot132

Viewsonic will launch an updated version of its NVIDIA ION-powered nettop on Thursday. Like the VOT131, the new VOT132 will feature a dual core Intel Atom 330 processor, 2G of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive. But the new model will run Windows 7 Home Premium instead of Windows XP Home.

The Viewsonic VOT132 will be available on October 22nd for $499. For an extra $99 you can get a modular Super Multi DVD burner that attaches to the nettop. The computer features NVIDIA GeFroce 9400 graphics, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and has 6 USB ports, DVI and HDMI outputs, SPDIF/mic input, SPDIF output, Ethernet and headphone jacks.

  1. Seems way overpriced in comparison with the new Acer AspireRevo N330/ION model retailing at $329.
