It looks like those Asus eBook readers the company promised us a few months ago could be available in the US and Europe as early as March, 2010. The company has already stated it has plans to release devices with 6 and 9 inch e-Ink displays and possibly a dual-screen, touch-friendly model. But now it looks like Asus also plans to offer eBook readers supporting a range of internet connectivity options including WiFi, 3G, and WiMAX.

The company is expected to make an official announcement before the end of the year.

  • If it looks like the one in the photo, I think it will do well since it is so cool looking (assuming the price is reasonable). If they make it too expensive, it will not sell well; especially with this economy.
