The CULV (+ 4500 MHD) is going to be better for processor intensive applications. Like zipping files, flash video, and spreadsheet calulations. And the Atom+ Ion is going to be better at games and hardware excellerated HD video (though I think the Acer could handle that, check the review). THe Aton should also have much better battery life.
