Was excited at first, then went to the webpage and saw that an extra 6-cell batter was $150. Are you kidding me? I wonder how much it will run when added as acustomizable fetaure instead of an add on. Buit $150? Seriously?

Hmm… GS45 = GMA 4500MHD. Blu-Ray certified, full hardware decode on video, what intel calls “great” 3D.

6 cell battery, 500 GB HDD, bluetooth, 3G are all options listed as “coming soon” — right now you can't customize the basic system at all. No mention of upgradeable RAM at all, though.

Dell claims the CPU is 40% faster than an N270, so even if that's inflated, it ought to run any Linux that any other netbook can, plus or minus drivers.

They claim “up to” 6:39 battery life when it ships with the forthcoming 6-cell, so it's not going t0 compete with some of the 8- and 10-hour netbooks out there.
