The MSI Wind U123, which has been available for pre-order for a week or two, is now in stock and shipping in the US. Amazon is selling the netbook for $349.99 with a 6 cell battery. It’s available in both red and blue, and packs a 1.66GHz intel Atom N280 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and a 10.2 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display.
If that’s not enough juice for you, Amazon is also taking pre-orders on an MSI Wind U123 model with a 9-cell battery for $379.99.
Some versions of the Wind U123 will be available with a built-in 3G modem. The computer also features facial recognition software that lets you login to Windows by gazing at the webcam.
You can already purchase the U123 from Newegg for $350. I already have mine. They are in stock and have both the red and blue to choose from.
The real question is – will this run Mac OS X?
