The original battery of IBM , DELL, HP, Acer and other brands of laptop is not focusing most of their engergy in the laptop battery research and development . Hence their original laptop battery is bought at high price but with low capacity.

Well sort of, I had a 14 hour battery on my Sony Picturebook in 2002. It was smaller and lighter than current netbooks. Of course, it was also nearly 10X as expensive as the current crop of netbooks, so I guess that's progress.
