mini-10Dell is offering instant savings on several computer models today, including the Inspiron Mini 9 and Mini 12 laptops. You can save $40 to $69 on these models, and pick up a netbook for as low as $299.

But here’s the really interesting part. Dell is also running a $50 off deal on the Inspiron Mini 10 netbook – which hasn’t even begun shipping yet. That means you can pick up a base model of the company’s new netbook with a 10 inch display for just $299.

For that price, you’ll get a mini-laptop with a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 CPU, a 160GB hard drive, 1Gb of RAM, and a 3 cell, 24Whr battery. The netbook comes with 802.11g WiFi and runs Windows XP Home Edition. The price includes a black paint job. You’ll hae to pay extra if you want a different color or a faster processor.

You can read more about the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 in the Liliputing Product Database.

  • Now there's a Dell I'd buy, I loathed the keyboard on the mini 9, this one looks sharp from the few images I can find.

You gotta review this sucker if you get your hands on one.

Nice, but for a few bucks more you can get a netbook with more resolution and bigger battery, not to mention a better CPU.

Mark: The 10's resolution and 1.3 silverthorne is just the intro hardware. There is one with 768 (or something close) vertical res, along with a 1.6 silverthorne to follow. I'm not sure what kind of netbook has a more powerful processor (Flybook has a Core 2 Duo, but that sucker is $3k!), but the silverthorne should effectively be a cooler-running diamondville if I'm not mistaken.
