As I reported the other day, Dell has begun shipping the Inspiron Mini 10 to customers that got their orders in early. Jason Dunn at Digital home Thoughts is one of the first people to receive the new netbook. Dell isn’t offering the high resolution display, TV tuner, or GPS features that the company promised earlier this year just yet. But Dunn’s new netbook does have a shiny red lid that looks kind of awesome.
You can find the full unboxing video at Dunn’s web site. Toward the end of the 10 minute video you can also see a comparison of the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 and an HP Mini 1000 netbook. The two computers are pretty close in size, and both have nice large keyboards that stretch from one edge of the chassis to the other. But the HP netbook is a little slimmer and lighter.
