Dell is offering the Inspiron Mini 9 laptop for as low as $199 in a one day deal. This isn’t the first time Dell’s offered pricing this low. Last month the company ran a similar deal. But tomorrow the price will likely jump back up to $249.

So what can you get for 2 C-notes? The Inspiron Mini 9 has an 8.9 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 512MB of RAM, and an 8GB solid state disk. This model runs Ubuntu 8.04.1 Linux and has an 802.11g WiFi card. It comes with a 32WHr 4 cell battery and no webcam.

You can upgrade the RAM to 1GB or 2GB, and upgrade the SSD to 16GB or 32GB, but those options will cost you.
