Amazon is now taking preorders for the Asus Eee Top all-in-one PC for US customers. The Eee Top has the guts of a netbook (1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, Integrated graphics, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive) in an iMac-like case. Oh, and did I mention it has a touchscreen display?

The first Eee Tops to hit the US will have 15.6 inch displays and run Windows XP plus a custom finger-friendly program launcher. Asus also has a few larger models up its sleeve for folks who are thinking of turning these computers into multimedia systems for the living room. The Eee Top will be available in black and white for just under $600.
