Asus introduced a whole slew of new machines at CES including the Eee PC T91 convertible tablet and the Eee PC 1004DN with a new Intel Atom N280 CPU and an optional DVD drive. But it looks likely that the company won’t bring any of these new products to market for a few months.
Taipei Times reports that due to a variety of issues Asus had to lower its profit forecasts recently. And as a result, Asus wants to bring its inventory under control before shipping new netbooks, notebooks, or other products. As previously reported, the company also plans to consolidate some of its product lines.
