Netbooks were one of the hottest items at CES 2009. While the economy is tanking and many consumer electronics makers are seeing sales numbers fall, sales of these low cost portable computers continue to climb. And a lot of companies are trying to hitch themselvs to that wagon. I saw a lot of booths where companies were trying to slap the word netbook onto existing products like travel mice or laptop cooling pads. But a handful of businesses actually had new products that were clearly designed for netbook users.
Kroo makes cellphone and laptop cases and sleeves. And now the company is offering several different products for 7 to 10 inch netbooks. The company had dozens of items on display at CES, some of which are available today, ranging from leather netbook skins to knit sleeves for mini-laptops. Some of which will be available in the coming months. A number of Kroo’s netbook cases are available today from Amazon for under $20.
You can check out a few more images from the Kroo booth after the break.
