Has anybody else noticed that doing a custom configuration seems to cost at least $100 more than the same pre-built config? What's going on here? I hope they fix this before the hi-res version becomes available.

I ordered a 2140 with 6 cell battery the first day they were available and it was supposed to ship yesterday. Bot an email informing me of a delay.

Called HP and was told all 2140 shipments were delayed due to the Chinese New Year. Units are due in to HP warehouse Feb 13 and outshipments will be a day or so after.

I'd pay a premium for the screen resolution (yes I know, it will hurt my eyes – the goggles, they do nothing!) but having to cope with only 600 vertical pixels is getting tiresome.

Configuration options are nice, but I think price is one of the MAJOR points for a netbook, and anything very far beyond $400 is kind of ridiculous. They're really missing the point.
