b204-accessories

Asus has already announced plans to soup up its Eee Box line of mini-desktop computers with dedicated graphics and HDMI output. Now it looks like the company is providing all the tools you need to throw the tiny Asus Eee Box B204 next to your television set, including a wireless mouse, keyboard, and media center remote control.

Eee PC News has snagged some pictures of the new accessories. I feel like I’ve seen that remote somewhere before, but I can’t seem to find the link.

No word on how much these accessories will cost. I assume Asus will sell them separately from the Eee Box in order to keep down the price of the base unit. But perhaps we’ll also see an Eee Box entertainment bundle show up at some point.

  1. What a crappy looking mouse! I am looking forward to reading a review of the complete setup (souped up eeebox and the accessories together).

  2. I take it back – the buttons here are in the right order, it’s most of the xbox ones (at least those pictured on the web) that have it wrong. Typical bl**dy Microsoft.

  3. The coloured buttons are standard (at least for the UK) digital interactive buttons, a throwback from Fasttext teletext on analogue. However, they’re in the wrong order, oops.

  4. Without a doubt the remote looks like a repurposed XBOX 260 DVD remote. Those coloed buttons at the bottom evoke that style for sure.
