It’s pretty much a given that if you head off to an electronics trade show these days, you’ll spot a few netbooks. While there don’t seem to be any surprises at the Korea Electronics Show, the folks at Akihabara News did manage to snap a few photos of two of the more interesting netbooks to launch in recent weeks, the Samsung NC10 and the LG X110.
The LG netbook has a 10 inch display, 160GB HDD, 3 cell battery, and 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU. The Samsung NC10 has pretty much the same specs, plus one of the best keyboards I’ve seen on a netbook. Customers can also select a model with the hard drive capacity to meet their needs, with HDDs ranging from 80GB to 160GB.
These two seem superficially similar at first glance, but loaded with subtle differences. Mobility seems to be the main thrust of the LG X110, at least with their “Mobile Notebook” version with embedded 3G and dual quad band antenna:
