The Sylvania G series of netbooks consists of clones of other netbooks. The first was an Everex Cloudbook (or VIA Nanobook) lookalike, while the Sylvania G Meso is basically an Amtek Elego. Now Sylvania is preparing to launch the Sylvania G Magni, which is essentially an MSI Wind laptop with a big G on the top lid instead of the MSI logo.
The Magni will have a 120GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, and come witha choice of Ubuntu Netbook Remix of Windows XP for the operating system. Something tells me the Ubuntu version will cost a few bucks less.
Otherwise, the Magni looks pretty much like any other MSI Wind clone. It has a 10.2 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display and a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU. And it should be available before the end of the year.
